The Redding Swim Team was established in 1952. Our objective is to provide a swim team for the youth in Shasta County. Our Mission is to provide physical, emotional, and social growth of swimmers through training and competition. The team is managed by the head coach and supervised by a board of directors. We are one of the largest  and most comprehensive swim organizations in the North State.

The Aqua Ducks: a year round competitive swim program for children 4-18 years of age. Our focus is on  the long-term development of each child, realizing that all children are different and will progress at their own rate. In order to provide a well-rounded program for all the participants we offer nine swim levels. Swimmers are placed into groups based upon their desire, ability and age (maturity). Each child will be placed into the group that best suits their ability as determined by the coach and the athlete. Our long term development philosophy continues to produce some of the best local, regional and national swimmers in the North State.

A one week try out period is available . To become a member, the registration packet must be completed and all fees paid before a swimmer may enter the water. The reistration packet can be downloaded on our website by " Clicking Here", or picked up at the pool during practice, or by calling the office, (530) 246-2666, and we will mail the information to you. Our swimming program is the best-priced value in the sports community.
